Renewal in People
The Son of Man came to seek and save the lost (Lk. 19:10). We want to see the number of those with no religious adherence in Lorain County cut in half.
Renewal in Lorain
We find our own welfare if the city we live in finds its welfare (Jer. 29:7). Through devotion to prayer and living on mission in our community we want to see crime and poverty decrease while the economy and population increase
Renewal in the World
Every local church is invited into the worldwide mission of making disciples and multiplying churches (Matthew 28:19-20). We want to send people to plant 1 church every 2 years.

The Budget
Advertising - $55,000
In order to ensure the largest launch day possible, we need to make sure that everyone in Lorain and surrounding areas knows about ReCo’s grand opening.
Outreach / Discipleship - $7,000
We will use this money to start off our church right in relationship with the community—we are here to serve! The dream is to bless families with incarcerated loved ones in Lorain County Jail, clean up yards around town, feed the hungry, and more. We will also use these resources to purchased discipleship tools to encourage our team to be “disciples who make disciples.”
Administration - $14,000
Every church has moving parts beind the scenes. Rent, subscriptions, bookkeeping and more.
Worship - $80,600
We want to create an excellence worship experience for our guests. High quality technology has high prices, but we believe the eternal investment it will help make in the lives of others is worth it.
Children - $14,000
If we can create a fun and engaging children’s experience, it greatly increases the likelihood of parents sticking around to hear the Gospel. We want to sow richly into the next generation with a memorable and spiritually impactful ministry experience.
Guest Experience - $40,800
It’s the little things that help make hospitality shine. We want clear signage, tasty coffee, fragrant soap, and more to make people feel at home.
Total - $211,900
The Values
Reliant on God
We are nothing without God’s Spirit and empowerment. We rely on him through prayer and humility.
Remarkable in Expectation
God can do more than we ask or imagine. We pray for big things. We believe miracles help to grow the Kingdom and our faith. We believe that God still heals the sick, delivers the oppressed, and does the impossible.
Relentless in Mission
We may not all be gifted in evangelism, but we are all positioned to reach someone. We will passionately pursue those who are far from God.
Ready for Obedience
If we say we are of Jesus, we must be ready to act like Him (1 John 2:6). Jesus wants obedient disciples–not just knowledgeable ones. We focus on putting His Word into practice to become mature disciples.
Real in Community
We get authentic and transparent because that’s where real growth happens
Reproductive in Nature
Healthy things multiply. Our small groups, serving teams, and church will always make sacrifices to multiply the impact of the Kingdom.
The City and
The Prayer
Lorain, Ohio - “The International City”
Lorain, like many industrial cities in the U.S. has had more prosperous days. Despite economic difficulties, the heart of city still pumps strong.
The diverse community of 65,000 people represent 52 nationalities. The city sits on the shore Erie, watching sunsets every morning that hint at what we believe to be a beautiful future for The International City.
According to a recent data from MissionInsite, about 43,000 people in Lorain don’t have a church they call home. More than this city needs socioeconomic renewal, it needs spiritual renewal. ReCo Church aims to see that happen.
Our prayer is that we see Lorain become the premiere example in the U.S. of what happens when God touches a city yearning for renewal. We want God to renew and mobilize the people of this city so that the county, state, county, and world can taste what Jesus is overjoyed to pour out when his people are mobilized on mission for Him.
For Renewal.
For Lorain.
